Sonakshi Sinha and Reena Roy have no links in common except for the one Sonakshi’s father Shatrughan Sinha. The coincidence of Sonakshi, having features common with the actress who had an intense chemistry with her father even after him marrying Poonam, her mother is not something to grasp easily.

This pointing created a serious environment in Sinha family who were not happy with it especially Sonakshi who got irritated by such speculation. Whole family was defensive about the critical comments they used to get about Sonakshi Sinha Reena Roy resemblance and to it Poonam Sinha (Soankshi Sinha Mother) made some clear statements and said, "Absolutely not! She doesn't look like anyone. Sonakshi is my daughter and she looks like me,” and also warned the media for not bringing this ridiculous point in front of Sonakshi.
According to an interview by Sonakshi she agreed about the similarity she has with Reena Roy and owed it to the eye make up which goes similar to her in some way, she added about the face shape which looked similar because, before she lost weight her full face was some way like Reena Roy nothing else. Sonakshi Sinha and Reena Roy news was in highlight only till the time Sonakshi was thought to be naïve in B-town because the height she is at present, she is above all the critical rumours. However the fact that Reena was one intrinsic part of Shatru life even after his marriage and the whole fraternity at that time was sure of some cleave between Poonam and Shatru because of Reena, could not be ignored.
