Hopes of Hollywood for Sonakshi Sinha

The Dabangg girl Sonakshi Sinha got her actual praises and applauds for her role in the 2013 film Lootera, and thus, made everyone turn their heads around in the B-Town. However, even though the movie and Sona got great critical reviews, it did not make a notice in the award ceremonies this year. This means, Lootera did not even reach up the nomination list for the awards.

However, the movie proved to be very influential for the Sinha girl, as she received an offer from a New York-based group to play a vital role in the stage adaptation of O Henry’s The Last Leaf. If you noticed, along with this play offer, Sonakshi’s movie Lootera also partly based on this same adaptation.

When she talked to the media about this Broadway offer, she showed keen interest in taking it on, as the offer was a lavish one, although had some dates issues. Now, that Sona is taking a step up from the Bollywood to the Broadways, she also added that she would take up the Hollywood offers if they were good. As she very well did not forget to add the fact that the Hollywood works completely different from the Bollywood.

Sona also mentioned her interest to work in animation or kids’ movies or fantasy films genre. Even though, with all this Hollywood hawa for Sona right now, she did mention that, “I will not step out of my comfort zone even when I’m there (in Hollywood). I want families to watch my movies, so I won’t do work that does not suit Indian sensibilities”.

Sona has proved herself to be a very good actress even after the vague comments about her looks and the repetitive type of Desi roles. The 26 year old has bagged her achievements even without the nominations or awards, by receiving such a grand and lavish offer.

So, even though Lootera did not make a remarkable impact in the Indian film Industry, it did prove to be an extremely good asset to pave Sonakshi’s way to Hollywood.
